In the 12 years that Southwest Institute of Healing Arts has been offering exceptional education in the alternative and complementary health field, the school has built an impeccable reputation with local businesses. We are well known for graduating Great Therapists . Our Success Center supports all SWIHA’s graduates by maintaing those strong connections within the valley and statewide. Because of our proven placement track record we were voted Best Placement Practices for 2003-2004 and 2005-2006.

2006 Award:

“The Best Student Placement Practice award was based the school’s commitment to channel a significant percentage of their advertising budget into advertising for its graduate’s businesses.  SWIHA realized that the more business they could help their graduates generate, the more successful they would have in the long run.  The school designed a website www.GreatTherapists.comand actively promote it via print and radio advertising to push people to a website featuring the graduates and their businesses. In addition, the school sponsored an Internet radio program on www.AchieveRadio.comentitled Great Therapists.  The programs have been archived so consumers can listen to the programs and obtain information at their convenience.  Graduates can also provide a link on their personal websites to the Internet show on which they were a guest. 

The award of Best Student Organization was received for the program known as T.E.A.M. = Together Everyone Achieves More.  Last year over a dozen groups of graduates have joined together to create businesses outside of the school, capitalizing on the group strengths and resources.”

The Success Center is designed with the graduate in mind. As a graduate you receive lifetime placement assistance, entrepreneurial and life coaching and full licensing support for our massage therapy graduates. We have a website completely dedicated to our graduates. Upon graduation our graduates are invited to register on www.GreatTherapists.comand www.BeALifeCoach.comto promote themselves and their business. We spend a significant percentage of our marketing budget on promoting our graduates and advertising on websites, in magazines, radio and clothing. We believe in graduating Great Therapists!

The staff of the Success Center offers exceptional support through coaching to help our graduates do their dream. We provide one-on-one entrepreneurial support. As a graduate, you are our first priority.
