Become a Yoga Teacher today, start making a difference.

SWIHA offers a comprehensive 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Program (YTT) that guides students through a deep exploration of the roots, practice, and development of Yoga as a personal path to Self-Realization.

The program blends the highest intentions of Eastern and Western philosophy and practice, cultivating the awareness to apply these principles as a teacher and lifelong student. The program takes place over a six-month period and is organized in three sequential modules. Each module offers a deeper and wider base of yogic knowledge and personal experience, creating one of the most well rounded YTT programs available. Topics covered include: asana (posture); dynamic alignment; pranayama (breathing exercises); meditation, Sanskrit; yogic diet and Ayurveda; therapeutic applications of yoga; history of Yoga; ancient yogic texts; chanting; and so much more!

With paid tuition, students receive an unlimited membership to attend weekly classes at SWIHA's in-house Yoga & Movement Studio for the duration of the YTT program. The only official pre-requisite to enter the program is a high school diploma (or GED exam). Also, it is strongly recommended that students practice Yoga regularly for at least six months before entering the program.

The SWIHA Yoga Teacher Training Program is Yoga Alliance Approved. Students graduate from the program as Certified Yoga Instructors with nationally recognized qualifications that enable them to teach in any school or environment.

Above all, the program is a life changing experience... a journey of Self discovery... that guides and inspires students to align with their true life purpose.
